Our landlady called the other day and said that we will need to move out because she needs to move back in. We really like this house and are very sad to leave. Hopefully we'll find something we like even more that is also in a great location for both of us to ride our bikes to work. At least we are not moving halfway across the country this time...just across town.Saturday, March 22, 2008
The search is on...again!

Some interesting sights in Minneapolis
We drove up to the cities Saturday morning. Ian did a rode race in St. Paul and then we watched the St. Patrick's Day Parade. We spent the rest of the weekend in Minneapolis at favorite places and checking out spots we hadn't been yet. We ended up seeing quite of few people we know from Rochester.

Melting...finally!
We have such a tiny back yard (since our driveway and garage take up most of it) and all of the snow had to be snowblowed into it. This is the pile at it's highest just a week ago. Come on spring! I'm just wondering where all of the water is going to go when that pile melts. Hopefully not all into our basement again!
This week temperatures reached the double digits above zero each day! It even reached the 30s a few days and we heard the satisfying sound of water dripping . We even saw a hint of grass the other day (something we haven't seen since November) and hear birds chirping in the mornings. Our MN winter has given us a whole new perspective on "cold" and we are looking forward to spring more than ever.
