The grounds of the Plummer House are looking really nice right now, so why not challenge the groundskeepers by letting a toddler run around loose? Fortunately, Hunter was mostly interested in trying to open doors and the plants suffered minimal damage. In fact, he would see a flower and gently put his fingers under the petals as if he were letting a little bug crawl onto him. We saw a small wedding party there taking pictures. The bride was dressed as a blue peacock.

After a cold start to the day we went to Oxbow Park to see the animals. This place is great for kids...they let them drive gators around as long as they are old enough to maintain head control. It sounds crazy, but this picture is proof...see Hunter driving it?

Hunter enjoys a new game of sitting on Papa's belly and bouncing. Usually it is fun, but today he nailed a floating rib and that stung.

No, the goat is not dead. It just sits neat the fence with it's mouth positioned near a small hole waiting for kids to get their fingers too close. Hunter approached him from the top...very sneaky.

Serious face with a hint of a smile...what's that boy thinking about?

These blue flowers grow wild in the woods along one of the bike paths in Rochester. They bloom in the spring before the forest floor gets overtaken by the other plants, and for a few days, there's nothing but these flowers and trees that are just putting out new leaves. I went back on my bike this morning after my run to snap some pictures.

We've let the blog go stale for a while...we moved out of our house and into a crappy apartment for the next 6 weeks. This place has a small playground where Hunter likes to go down the slide with his papa.
