We got a garden plot from the City of Rochester. For $30 you can get a 20'x30' piece of land to do whatever you want. Most people plant things like fruits and vegetables. Ian wanted to dig a large hole, fill it with sharpened spears, and cover it with sticks and leaves. Once a week he would check and see if anything fell in. We couldn't agree on what type of bait to use, so we decided to plant vegetables. We are lucky to have a friend who has a green thumb. She and her husband are sharing it with us. We spent the day planting seedlings that we started indoors and some seeds right into the ground. Here's what we have so far:
Garden Peas
SNap Peas
Sugar peas
Carrots
Rainbow Carrots
Lettuce
Spinach
Broccoli
Beets

In a few weeks we will put in the tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, hot peppers, basil, eggplant, Walleye, melons, and maybe some hemp if we have space. I
