Two weeks ago we were playing at the park with no snow on the ground...unheard of for mid-January in Minnesota.
Finally we have some beautiful winter weather...a few inches of snow on the ground and wind chills falling below zero. Here is a post-run picture of Ian. Ian and Colin are running the Boston Marathon in April, so there's not much time to get in shape.
Finally some closet doors to dress up that nasty-looking "closet hole." Previously there was just a curtain to cover the opening. We wanted something more civilized. Ian shopped around for something to fit the door opening, but it's an odd size. We finally ordered some unfinished house shutters and painted them white to match the trim. Painting louvers is a pain in the butt. Then the simple task of mounting the doors proved to be not-so-simple because the door frame was not plumb. After some creative hinge mortising, the doors finally fit and worked reasonably well. Don't look too closely!

Great to hear from you again! You have been missed. But I don't know who that clean shaven man is??? Ian you can count on 4 Kearns' ladies (and maybe one dude) cheering you on in Boston this year!
